What is a curse?
A curse is a spoken word to cause spiritual power which is causing harm which can stand over generations if not broken.

Who can curse?
God has put curses for example in genesis, over the serpent Genesis 3:14-15

Can the curse God spoke be broken?
What God has cursed no men or spirit can break!

Can the devil curse or a demon?
Not really, for the devil to take action in this world it needs some things. satan is a spirit and cannot move things or practice his spiritual power without a fleshly body which must have a speech (Human). If satan gets hold of a men or a women and makes use of this person then he can curse through this persons speech and this are usually witches, wizards and so on.
Some say: but satan uses animals: well animals can be carrier of spirits, but to transfer a curse on a person, this curse must have been spoken by a person which is used by the evil and placed on this animal, or object.

Can people curse?

Yes people can curse.
In a righteous way they did and in evil ways which is most common.
For example, Noah cursed Canaan the son of Ham who saw his fathers nakedness. Genesis 9:24-27
Joshua cursed those who will build up Jericho again. Joshua 6:26 and fulfilled in 1st Kings 16:34

A curse always means destruction, harm, pain, suffering and loss

Can a Christian be cursed and suffer?

Yes a Christian can suffer a curse. No man is perfect and Christians are not prefect and will never be. We are saved by grace and he who believes and is baptized is saved. Mark 16:16 If we say we do not sin, we lie. Theirs is sin willingly and by accident. 1st john 1: 8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.
Hebrews 10:26-27  26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. 28

God tells us: I AM holy, be you holy.
Well as we are not perfect and sin daily, by words, thoughts, doings and not doing, we have an open door which needs to be shut daily. Some Christians suffer still bad habits, pornography, playing satanic ungodly games, drinking, lusting, gambling, anger, temper, watching movies of killing and hatred. Jesus even told us, he who is lusting in his heart for a women has already committed adultery. Matthew 5:28, this means masturbation. Not only man suffer this but women also and more and more our youth.
If I do not attend those issues, with praying, eventually fasting, or with deliverance prayers, it will become a stronghold in us and a curse. The enemy has legal rights to enter our life because our door is widely open to sin and with sin comes condemnation and this is what the devil is up to.

The reason for curses in this world is hate and hate comes through the devil and who ever is used by the devil, no matter how they call them self, hates the light, they love darkness. They hate what is good. Some of them pretend to be good and to practice white magic, well: magic is magic it comes from the devil. 1st Cor. 11: 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 15 It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.

If I am cursed, I need to know that my children will inherit this curse unless it is broken.
because the curse is spoken on us  and our life and life is blood. where there is no blood, there is no life and where a person who was cursed dies and has no upspring, the curse also dies. The curse is transferred in the bloodline and that's why we speak also about bloodline curses which are generational curses.

Hexes, jinxes, curses, spells all this can work over generations.

Now here is another important point, if I go to a witch, wizard, traditional healer, witch doctor or whatever they call themselves and think I will get off this curse, then I need to know that from the devil comes only lies and deception. I will get something else from the kingdom of darkness, this is their principle. Jesus tells us this and Jesus is God, He knows all spiritual matters and Him we shall trust in what he says. Mark 3:22 And the teachers of the law who came down from Jerusalem said, “He is possessed by Beelzebul! By the prince of demons he is driving out demons.”

23 So Jesus called them over to him and began to speak to them in parables: “How can Satan drive out Satan? 24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25 If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. 26 And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come.

Look this parable. A scorpion sits on the riverbank and wants to cross but he cant swim. A frog comes by and the scorpion ask, bring me over. The frog says, I will not, because you will sting me and I die. The scorpion says, I will not, because if I sting you, we both drawn. The frog is convinced and carries the scorpion over the water. In the midst of the waters, the scorpion stings the frog. The frog cries and says, what have you done, now both of us will die. Why did you do this. The scorpion answers: it is my nature!

Do not expect from the kingdom of darkness any good thing, there is always an attachment and God hates the work of darkness because God is light. There will never be deliverence but death!

People are quick to blame God for their misery and why is He allowing this they ask.
Well, it is us who allow this things to happen by our deeds and believes.
If a curse works in me, I need to search my life and find the point this curse has a grip, and this is always sin and one of the biggest strongholds for curses is UNFORGIVENESS!
Matthew 6:14 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

A curse will not enter our lives if we live a holy life, because darkness cannot penetrate light.
But if in any case a door is open, the curse will manifest.

If I am a unbeliever, I cannot get off that curse, because it is a spiritual spell and cannot be broken by a worldly word but by a spiritual only. This spiritual word which brakes the curse, must be more powerful, then the source where the curse comes from. If there is no authority in the person who will start breaking the curse, this person will receive a spiritual attack and will be cursed too. This is spiritual warfare. The only thing that is stronger then darkness is light and God is light and by the sacrifice the Lord did on the cross, those who believe and are saved will have the heavenly authority to break such curses. Not everyone who is saved will be able to do this because of some factors like fear, lack of faith and those will be also attacked if they practice without faith.

Then we have those who think they have authority but live not in the doctrines of our Lord Jesus Christ (Not born again John 3:3;5;7) and this is shown in acts 19:13 Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed. They would say, “In the name of the Jesus whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.” 14 Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this. 15 One day the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?” 16 Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding.

If I want a curse to be broken, I must be a holy anointed man of God, or if I am not a believer or not confident in the faith, I need to go to such and get deliverance prayers. and if that curse is broken, I need to live in the light, meaning I shall start believing in the son of God, deeply repent, get baptized to receive salvation. Otherwise, it can get even worse. The best is to believe and repent and get baptized even before those prayers of deliverance are made. 

Many people who go to break curses are inpatient. Some curses, need fasting and more then one session. People easily get frustrated and unbelieve changes even into anger. Even more if the curse was broken and they still reject the Lord and live continue in their ways and things get worse. then the more they blame the Christians and God. They do not understand the spiritual principals. And in many cases it is a lack of consultation of the one breaking the curse. Many have the power, but they use it for the gain of money, their own glory and fame. 

If I do deliverance prayers I must deeply consult the person affected and speak out the warnings. That it will become worse if that person affected after deliverance lives continually in the world (unbelieve) and this is biblical and Jesus warns us about it! Matthew 12:43 “When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. 44 Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. 45 Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.”


Here it is. Luke 10:18 He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. 20 However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
Mark 16:15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”


I will write a curse breaking prayer here, but it will not work if you just read it because a prayer must be spoken! A curse must be spoken otherwise it will not take place. A prayer must be spoken, a prayer has no power if the prayer is not spoken it remains thin air. A prayer not spoken will not be answered. These are spiritual principles, that's why God gave us a speech making us different from all other creation ever been and ever will be. 
How powerful the speech is, the language, God reveals with his own words during the destruction of the tower of Babel. Genesis 11:5 But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower the people were building. 6 The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. 7 Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.”

That's why satan must use people, a fleshly body which has a speech.
In the beginning God said! it is not written that God thought and it was done, God spoke, He said let there be light and it was! If God must speak to create, then we must speak to destroy evil and we as the sons and daughters of God have been given the power to do so!



I will write this prayer in the I form, as you pray you do not have to think of translating this prayer if it is for you. If it is for another person, it has to be translated to that name.
It is also important to name that curses if known, if not known, then the Holy Spirit will lead the praying person as much as this person is filled with the Holy Spirit.
If you are not a believer, not a born again Christian, I urge you find  a brother or sister of the faith which is born again to preach you the gospel of Jesus Christ, repent and be baptized and then to pray this prayer for you.

Breaking Curses

In the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of salvation, who had shed his preciouses blood on the cross and gave his body for the forgiveness of our sins that whosoever believeth in Him will be saved and called a child of God; who gave us children authority over all the power of the enemy as He restored authority back to us. Jesus Christ who overcame death and went down into the bottomless pit to take the keys and ascended to heaven and sits on the right hand of the Father; I pray now
  I declare in the mighty name of Jesus Christ that every altar of witchcraft and the occult erected against my life and my household is crashed to dust under my feet's, I render powerless every sacrifice made by any dark power against me and my household and I pray thee Holy Spirit to release thy all consuming fire to eat up and permanently destroy every remains of it forever and ever. I declare in the name of Jesus Christ and nullify every curse, every spell, every hexes, every jinxes spoken and worked against me and my household.

In the name of the most high God Jesus Christ I disconnect me and my household from every ancestral connection and bind me and my household to Christ Jesus.
I break every chain, every rope, every wall every gate, every lock that hinders me and my household to receive my God prepared blessings and walk on the way to fulfill our purpose.

I break the curse of premature death, I brake the curse of loss and unsuccessfulness, I break the curse of generational inherited sickness and diseases. I break the curse of braking marriages and unfruitfulness. I break every spiritual unknown dark covenant I or my household have done with the kingdom of darkness. I break every spiritual marriage with spiritual spouses with me or my household and command you to leave now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. 
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ I command you spirit of rejection to leave me and my household, leave now!
I renounce every promise I have made in ignorance and I repent before God for every promise I have made in pride which I am not able to fulfill.
I brake the spirit of unforgiveness and command you spirit to leave now in Jesus Christ name.
In the name of Jesus Christ I break every work of darkness and every stronghold of darkness in my life and the life's of my household

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, by your righteousness and justice my God, I claim from the enemy every loss to be restored to me and my household caused by the work of darkness as I caught the thief which is satan Proverbs 6:31 Yet if he is caught, he must pay sevenfold,
though it costs him all the wealth of his house. Exodus 22:3 “Anyone who steals must certainly make restitution, but if they have nothing, they must be sold to pay for their theft. 4 If the stolen animal is found alive in their possession—whether ox or donkey or sheep—they must pay back double. 

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I break every spiritual activity of the kingdom of darkness around me and my household. I declare and degree that every person in my household or connected to the work of darkness against me and my household will manifest and be exposed, in the name of Jesus Christ I destroy all their powers and spiritual sight. I speak blindness and confusion into the camp of the enemy in Jesus Christ name.
I declare and degree light into my life and the life's of my household. where there is light there is no darkness.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ I break every habitual sin in my life and in the life's of my household.
I declare and degree in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, that I and my household are free from every curse and every evil works of the kingdom of darkness.
Father in heaven, I bind myself and my household to your kingdom, and pray you in the name of Jesus, that you remove by thy power and wisdom as the omniscient and omnipresent God every remaining strongholds, and powers of darkness around me and my household and that you protect us from henceforth. To you oh king of the Universe and creator of all things our God almighty is the glory and all the honor and the power is yours for ever and ever. Praise in the highest to our most high God Jesus Christ
